how technology impacts my life.

Technology has greatly impacted my life. I am a very busy person, and technology has helped me keep in touch with family and friends. I use my text messaging, myspace, and AIM to keep in touch with the people I dont get to see that often. Without them, I probably wouldn't talk to half of my friends and family that often. Don't get me wrong, i would rather see the person face to face and talk with them, but it is hard to meet with friends that have demanding schedules too.

I also have a gps, which is a lifesaver. I do not know directions and it is easier for me to have a gps than to use mapquest. The times I have used mapquest the directions were wrong. Yes, you have to update the gps every so often, but i can live with that.

Technology has made my life so much easier. I do not know what I would do if it all got taken away.

What would you do if I took your cell phone and your gps from you? Would you survive? Try it for 2 days and then write a blog on how hard life was without these devices. But only if you want to. I think this would be interesting!

I desperateley need a gps system in my car. I cant follow directions for nothing lol. Myspace and facebook has allowed me to connect with friends that I had back in elementary school, so its cool to be able to talk to them after so long to check on them and to catch up. Technology is great and id be completely lost with out it in some cases.

I need my cell phone! I don'think i could live without it even for one day. It would be interesting to see how our society would react if that sort of technology was not readily avaliable to us.

This is exactly how I feel. Life would so not be the same if technology was not a part of it. Now of course loosing the internet and cell phones would be a great lost but, I feel that alot of people forget how technology impacts our simple everyday life like; eating, driving, sleeping, showering, etc...

We seem to be the same how we don't know if we would make it without the cell phone or things like gps or text messaging. I'm glad I'm not the only one dependent on technology!

I think that's interesting how you rely on technology so much to communicate with your family and friends rather than actual human contact. Not that that is bad or anything, but it just goes to show just how greatly technology is a vital part of our culture and society as a whole now. And even more fascinating is wondering just how much more dependent will we be on technology in the future.
